The kick off meeting will be held at the university building of via Filzi 14, downtown in Trieste (see picture).
The place is walking distance from both the train and the bus stations (which are next to each other). You will arrive at one of the two.
If you fly to Trieste airport, take the bus n. 51 to the terminal bus station in Trieste. Information about the schedule and tickets (4,05 Eur) can be found at the airport. You can also take a taxi, which will cost approximately 60 Eur. If you fly to Venice, take a bus to Mestre train station (approx. 8,00 Eur), and from there a train to Triste (price depending on the type of train, but not more than 20,00 Eur). A taxi from Venice to Trieste will cost approximately 200 Eur. |
The meeting will be in room S3. When you enter from the main entrance, take the corridor on the left. You will find stairs and an elevator on your right. Go to the third floor. Take a left. The meeting room will be the first on your right. There will be a sign on the door indicating the “TEQ meeting”.
Here below is a list of suggested hotels. Since you will take care of your own booking, you can choose whichever hotel you prefer. The ones listed here below are close to the meeting place.
